Housekeeper Position At Genesis Healthcare Center

Genesis Healthcare Center is a family-owned facility dedicated to continuing a tradition of compassionate care. We provide a safe, welcoming home for adults with mental illness and work hard to enhance the quality of life for our residents. The housekeeper's role is to ensure all cleaning duties are completed according to company policies and regulatory standards.

This position requires attention to detail, self-motivation, energy, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, diverse environment while adapting to residents' needs. Housekeepers follow set directions and schedules, handle cleaning chemicals safely, and use various tools like vacuums and washing machines. Physical stamina is essential for being on your feet most of the day and carrying supplies. Tasks include laundry, cleaning bathrooms, replenishing supplies, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, dusting, disinfecting high-touch areas, mixing chemicals properly, and other duties as assigned.

Periodic tasks may involve preparing rooms for new residents, cleaning curtains or blinds, and inventorying belongings. Any maintenance issues or resident concerns should be promptly reported.
