Environmental Services Technician

This role is critical in maintaining a safe, clean, and hygienic environment within our healthcare facilities. As an Environmental Services Technician, you will be instrumental in ensuring that all areas including patient rooms, offices, and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness, which is vital for infection control and providing a comforting environment for patients and staff alike.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks in various areas of the healthcare facilities, such as patient rooms, offices, and public spaces.
• Use cleaning solutions and equipment according to the prescribed protocols and safety guidelines.
• Dispose of waste and hazardous materials following proper procedures.
• Assist in the maintenance of cleaning equipment, reporting any malfunctions or shortages.
• Collaborate with other facility staff to ensure adherence to sanitation and infection control standards.
• Respond to emergency cleaning needs promptly to maintain facility safety and cleanliness.
