Installation Technician, HVAC Tech / Heating Engineer, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
The Customer Engineering team at Calor Gas are looking to recruit an engaging and proactive Gas Engineer providing engineering services and emergency response to Calor customers in the area.
We are ideally looking for a smart metre/gas metre installer who would like to retrain to service and maintain Calor gas tanks, pipework and equipment. Full training will be given.
Competitive salary dependent on experience.
A company vehicle, mobile phone and tablet will also be provided to complete your role!
Key Responsibilities- Installing and maintaining Calor’s bulk tanks and assets at customer sites.
- Travel (van and fuel provided) to meet customer service standards for our largely rural customer base.
- Participate in a standby rota to respond to gas emergencies outside normal working hours. Flexible, positive, and adaptable approach required. Additional rates of pay apply.
- ACS Gas Qualified.
- Experience in dealing with customers and providing excellent customer care.
- Relevant gas engineering experience, understanding of LPG and installation/maintenance of bulk LPG tanks and cylinders is advantageous.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards, including Health and Safety awareness.
- Ability to follow procedures and instructions.
- Full industry‑specific training and support will be given.
- Full Manual UK driving licence is essential.

To be considered for this opportunity you must be eligible to live and work in the UK and hold a full UK driving licence that is valid for you to drive. You must also be medically fit to drive.
