Housekeeping Associate

The Opportunity

Saint Luke's East is seeking a Housekeeping Associate to be responsible for the cleanliness of our facility. As a member of the Environmental Services Department, the role involves fighting against hospital infection and interacting with patients daily to bring a positive experience, ensuring Saint Luke's is "The Best Place To Get Care, The Best Place To Give Care."

• Full‑time position
• Five day work week
• Work week – Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends (Every other weekend)

• Accountable for cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and offices.
• Removing trash, wiping surfaces, and any other tasks related to cleaning.
• Each housekeeper is responsible for their own trash, linen, and bio removal and must be able to lift 50lbs.

The ideal candidate is excited about working with people, has a positive attitude, strong customer‑service skills, flexibility, can work independently, is eager to learn, not afraid of asking questions, can stand on their feet all day, and is a team player.

• Minimum starting rates of $17.50 / hour
