Wage$17-20 per hour, DOE
ShiftFull time, 40 hours per week, exact schedule flexible;

We are looking for a hard‑working and dedicated facilities/maintenance technician to join our Thanksgiving Point Facilities Team. The individual will perform repairs, inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, occasional installations, and renovations throughout the property, working on building systems and infrastructure to ensure safety, functionality, code compliance, and aesthetic appeal.
Responsibilities- Maintain, repair, and conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems safely and compliantly.
- Maintain a safe and productive work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements.
- Report violations of policies, procedures, and guidelines to the immediate supervisor.
- Engage in department processes designed to keep work flowing in a cost‑effective manner.
- Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System or work order system on a mobile phone to perform work, record completion, identify parts usage, and apply warranties in a timely and effective manner.
- Provide effective problem solving when work volume is high and staff is spread thin.
- Assist with event setup for large private and public events, where heavy lifting, tools, or heavy equipment are required.
- Maintain a professional, kind demeanor with a strong customer service attitude.
- Inform management when supplies and tools need to be ordered to complete the job.

- Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.
- At least 2 years of experience with a wide variety of power tools and hand tools.
- Experience with at least two different trades.
- Trade school, certifications, and/or apprenticeships highly preferred.
- Ability to think critically, work independently, provide solutions, and follow instructions with integrity.
- Strong desire and ability to learn and work well with others.
- Verbal communication in English.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, including effective time management.
- Ability to correctly source compatible parts and materials for specific jobs.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, and stand for extended periods.
- Maintain a clean, professional image and demeanor during all work interactions with co‑workers, internal customers, or guests.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Minimum age 21.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Pass a background check and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
