Night Shift Pool Maintenance

NIGHT SHIFT POOL MAINTENANCE

Closing Date: Open Until Filled

Pay Range: $14.00/Hour

Schedule: 1 Shift Available

• Monday thru Thursday, and Saturday: 9 PM to 1 AM.
• Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday: 9 PM to 5 AM.

Department: Recreation

Perform various maintenance and custodial jobs at the Legacy Center swimming facility.

• Some work with hazardous materials and small equipment.
• Must possess good swimming skills and overall good physical conditioning.
• On-the-job training is available.
• Work up to 4 hours a day Mon-Thursday and every Saturday.
• Responsible for keeping equipment at aquatics facility in good running condition.
• Repair or replace worn-out or broken equipment.
• Keep the aquatic facilities clean.
• Work under the direct supervision of the head maintenance person and aquatic managers.

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of mechanical functioning of an aquatic facility preferred or other mechanical experience with the willingness to learn.
• Physically fit.
• Proficient swimmer.
• Good written and verbal skills.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with employees, volunteers, and the public.
• Pass drug and background check.
