Job Responsibilities:
Demonstrate an overall understanding of plant safety rules, regulations, and company safety policies/procedures.
Instill safety in others by being safety minded; models good safety practices.
Work safely in all situations.
Identify potential maintenance needs; enter them into the work order maintenance management system (Maximo).Perf orm all work in compliance with standard operating and maintenance procedures, utilizing current Life Safety Training skills and safety requirements including safe work permits, energy control isolation and IDLs, confined space entry work, hot work, work plans, pre-job disc ussions, plant safety inspections, etc.
Ensure contractors, visitors, co-workers and others comply with company safety policies/procedures. Issues safe work permit documentation and performs lock-out tag-out of equipment.
Designs lock-out ta g-out IDLs for plant work Demonstrates ability to perform plant cold start and warm start w ith assistance
Ability to calibrate and troubleshoot plant analyzers
Confidently manages day-to-day facility operations, both independently and with team support
Brings thoughtful judgment in maintaining the reliability and quality of delivered products
Exhibit instrumentation and mechanical aptitude.
Learn and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), corporate procedures; read and interpret blueprints, flow charts, process piping ISOs, simple schematics, P&IDs, electrical schematics; perform basic math operations.
Write and redline standard operating procedures
Keep accurate records and be diligent in documentation and record retention policies and procedures.
Demonstrate proficient knowledge of control board and operator interface computer consoles.
Perform operator rounds, water samples, truck loading, operations PM's.Guide and coordinate completion of minor PMsParticipate in plant planned outages
Promote and uphold a clean, organized environment.
Perform other duties as assigned by Plant Management Participate in On-call rotation, and support operational needs of the plant outside business hours and on weekend_____________________Are you a MATCH?
Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED4+ years of technical training or operations experience
Ability to work extended hours/shift work as business needs dictate.
Ability to work nights, weekends and possibly holidays in order to meet shift and on-call requirements.
Valid Driver’s License Knowledge/understanding of instrumentation, rotating equipment and piping systems.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements for operating plants (Process Safety Management, EPA regulations, FDA regulations, state/local regulations).Knowledge in the proper methods of locking out and isolating equipment.
Ability to use computers-knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
