Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr.

As a Maintenance Custodian Associate at Sam’s Club, you are accountable for maintaining a clean and safe environment for members and associates. You will ensure parking lots, restrooms, floors and other facility areas remain orderly and safe. You should be able to work full shifts on your feet, adapt to fast‑paced conditions, and prioritize customer satisfaction.

• Maintain safety and cleanliness by performing routine maintenance, cleaning floors, restrooms, windows, and trash receptacles.
• Respond to spills, operate floor scrubbers, and dispose of waste in compliance with the Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Conduct safety sweeps, follow forklift spotting and hazardous material handling procedures.
• Keep chemical supplies stocked, rotating and stored properly; place orders when inventory is low.
• Provide a welcoming first and last impression to members by maintaining a positive attitude.

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Ability to work a full shift standing and in physically demanding environments.
• Demonstrated pride in work and ability to adapt to changing conditions.
• Commitment to member satisfaction and safety.

• Experience in a maintenance or custodial role.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines and hazardous material protocols.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums are based on schedule, facility, season or specific work performed.
