HSK Lead Floor Technician

Job Purpose The Lead Floor Technician is responsible for performing special project work that includes floor care as well as other detailed cleaning jobs. The Lead Floor Technician will provide guidance to the Floor Technician team as well as ensuring that each job is completed to the highest standard.

Qualifications and Skills

GED or High School Graduation, preferred.

Must have a minimum of 5 years of floor care experience.

The ability to follow/perform standard procedures to operate specific cleaning equipment including but not limited to buffers, strippers, vacuum cleaners, wet vacuum and extractor.

May require working early morning and/or evening hours as well as weekends and holidays to ensure projects are completed to limit disruption to residents.

Ability to read written documents, including but not limited to, Hazardous Material’s labels, daily task sheets, and Material Safety Data Sheets.

Possesses an empathetic approach to the elderly.

Able to work in a team setting with residents, relatives, staff, and others.
