Maintenance Event Staff - Kansas Speedway

Kansas Speedway, located in Kansas City, Kansas, is a premier racing facility hosting numerous NASCAR events each year. This Seasonal Maintenance Technician will assist the maintenance team in preparing and maintaining the facility and grounds for all events.

• General Maintenance: Building and grounds upkeep; cleaning, power washing, garbage removal, mowing, weed whacking, tree trimming, landscaping, painting, and event setup; operation of hand and power tools, tractors, carts, heavy equipment, and vehicles.
• Janitorial: Cleaning and trash removal of office buildings, houses, suite buildings, etc.; sanitizing and stocking restrooms; operating hand and power tools, carts, and vehicles.
• Signs/Hospitality: Sign maintenance, vinyl and banner installation, painting ground graphics, setting up tents, tables, chairs, and other event equipment; forklift and boom lift operation preferred; operation of hand and power tools, tractors, carts, heavy equipment, and vehicles.

• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work overtime during evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Frequent lifting and carrying objects/materials up to 25 lbs., occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency working independently and as part of a team.
