Job Summary
The role of a Maintenance Supervisor is to provide the necessary guidance, knowledge, and skill sets needed to properly and efficiently maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment for production, facilities, and/or utilities. This individual will coordinate across departments to ensure the timely completion of routine and non‑routine maintenance tasks, oversee the work of maintenance mechanics, and train new and existing personnel. Salary Range: $73,614 - $103,528.
Position is eligible for a bonus plan with a target of 6% of the base salary.
- Lead, coordinate, and oversee routine and non‑routine maintenance and repairs of equipment for production, facilities, and/or utilities.
- Assess equipment problems, identify root causes, perform necessary repairs, and complete related documentation.
- Coordinate activities and oversee the work of maintenance personnel.
- Establish and maintain procedures required to perform routine preventive maintenance (PM).
- Identify critical spare parts needed and maintain inventories to minimize equipment downtime and maximize production efficiencies.
- Perform all activities in compliance with company cGMP and safety policies, procedures, and practices.
- Effectively communicate with Directors, Managers, Supervisors, peers, and subordinates.
- Notify management if specifications cannot be met and/or quality or safety is being compromised.
- Review and document work completed by employees.
- Conduct employee performance reviews.
- Ensure that all safety equipment is functional and that all employees practice proper safety and follow safety procedures.
