In the performance of their respective responsibilities, all employees are expected to perform the following:

This Maintenance Technician role is ideal for a motivated, hands-on professional with proven maintenance skills who can step in and support daily facilities operations with minimal supervision. This position ensures the credit union’s facilities remain safe, clean, and fully operational. The ideal candidate brings moderate experience, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to proactively identify and address facility needs.

Major Responsibilities- Support facilities planning and special projects, including branch remodels, equipment installations, and expansion initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations, building codes, life safety requirements, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Respond to emergency maintenance situations, after-hours service calls, and urgent facility issues across multiple branch locations as needed.
- Execute office renovations, furniture installations, workspace reconfigurations, and facility improvement projects while maintaining business continuity.
- Maintain the professional appearance, safety, and functionality of all facilities and grounds, ensuring a positive environment for employees and members.
- Coordinate and oversee third-party contractors and vendors, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within scope, and in compliance with company standards.
- Conduct comprehensive preventative maintenance inspections of buildings, equipment, and building systems to identify deficiencies and implement proactive maintenance solutions.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records, work orders, preventative maintenance schedules, and regulatory documentation using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or other tracking software.
- Independently perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC support, and general facility infrastructure with minimal supervision.
