Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Shift:
** Monday - Friday 6am - 3:30pm

** What's the Job?*
* + Perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the plant to ensure safe and efficient operation

+ Troubleshoot and repair engines, conveyors, electrical systems, pneumatic tools, and hydraulic equipment

+ Operate cranes, power tools, hoists, and hand tools safely and effectively

+ Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using the CMMS system

+ Assist in developing corrective actions and participate in safety inspections

** What's Needed?*
* + Minimum of 3 years industrial maintenance or heavy equipment experience

+ Strong mechanical knowledge, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission components

+ Experience operating standard power tools, grinders, hoists, and precision measuring instruments

+ Basic understanding of electrical systems and CNC equipment (preferred but not required)

+ Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain a clean and organized work area
