The Technical Service Advisor (TSA) is responsible for effectively responding to and troubleshooting technical questions from internal and external customers. The area covered includes parts of NJ, PA, MD, and DE.

• The TSA interacts with manufacturers and promotes improvements in products.
• The TSA maintains accurate records of field visits.
• The TSA makes visits to job sites with dealers as necessary.
• The TSA attends semi-annual Tech Service Advisor meetings.
• The TSA maintains technical literature.
• The TSA continues education regarding new and changing HVACR equipment and products.

• Travel is required to perform job duties.
• Proven background and experience in the HVACR field with the ability to troubleshoot effectively.
• Proficient knowledge of electricity and heating equipment, both gas and oil.
• Proficient knowledge of air conditioning, heat pumps, duct system design, ventilation, refrigeration, and hydronics.
• Ability to accurately size and match equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in a professional manner and give clear instruction.
• Knowledge and understanding of R.E. Michel's major product lines.
• Ability to maintain accurate records via paper, electronic tracking, and spreadsheets.
• Proficient use of computer programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook/Email.
