Excelcare at Lewes is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces while following infection control and safety standards. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, works well independently and as part of a team, and is committed to creating a comfortable environment for everyone in our care.

Located at 301 Ocean View Blvd, Lewes, DE 19958

Housekeeper Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily
• Empty trash and replace liners throughout the facility
• Collect and take out trash to designated disposal areas
• Dust, mop, vacuum, and disinfect surfaces and high‑touch areas
• Replenish paper products and cleaning supplies as needed
• Respond courteously to resident and staff requests
• Assist with room turnovers and deep cleaning as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Respectful and compassionate attitude toward residents
