Job Description
At Main Event, Technicians are responsible for maintaining the fun. As a Technician, you are knowledgeable about the mechanics and operations of our games and entertainment options, ensuring they operate safely and properly. You support the maintenance of equipment, building, and systems while upholding the highest standards of safety and sanitation.
Responsibilities- Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
- Welcoming and engaging with all guests.
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and technical work related to construction, repairs, preventive and scheduled maintenance.
- Troubleshoot repairs on games, tellers, pinsetters, etc.
- Disassemble, replace, and repair mechanical and electrical components such as bearings, coils, armatures, and wiring.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and order supplies, tools, and materials.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the mechanic shop and facility.
- Guest focused mindset.
- Teamwork and collaboration.
- Strong problem‑solving and multi‑tasking skills.
- Ability to learn and utilize multiple systems that support the business.
- General knowledge/skill set for repairing and maintaining automated bowling equipment and arcade games.
- Skills in electronics, mechanics, and hydraulics.
- Basic working knowledge of hand tools.
- Ability to work on ladders and handle equipment up to 250 lbs.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
- Ability to wear and work in personal protective equipment.
- Effective communication with management, team members, and guests.
- Availability to work days, nights, and/or weekends.

Hourly wage: $7.25 – $12.25.
