Trash Technician

We have an opening for a full‑time Trash Technician position in Lexington, KY 40511. The position is a full‑time, Wednesday – Saturday 7:00 am – 5:30 pm shift with a fixed rate of $15.00 per hour. Only online applications are accepted.

Collects, transports, and properly disposes of trash and bio‑hazardous materials following established safety protocols.

• Identify, transport, and dispose of trash, chemicals, and bio‑hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Perform cleaning functions and properly operate cleaning equipment as assigned.
• Recognize safety hazards and act accordingly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
