The Maintenance Technician ensures safe, efficient, and continuous operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on equipment in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

• Use hand tools, power tools, and delicate testing equipment in performance of duties.
• Complete basic maintenance procedures with minimal supervision.
• Complete complex maintenance with limited supervision.
• Complete maintenance request work orders for regulated and unregulated systems.
• Perform routine checks/inspection routes. Record equipment readings and change chart paper.
• Effectively document preventive maintenance and calibration under GMP, development and research umbrella.
• Complete equipment activation following established procedure.
• Schedule self‑performed work assigned at the beginning of the month and due by the end of the month.
• Schedule and escort contractors through facility for routine deliveries or inspections, ensuring they complete activities per procedure or agreements.
• Recommend facility improvements to meet OSHA safety, ISPE or FDA guidelines.
• Create maintenance procedures, and update existing procedures to match best practices and lessons learned.
• Identify and order spare or replacement parts for equipment using inventory management system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent; advanced technical certification preferred.
• 2-4 years’ experience in industrial maintenance supporting a manufacturing facility, preferably in a cGMP related environment.
