Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Our busy dealership is in need of a shop dispatcher. The ideal candidate for this position would be high energy, fast-paced, organized, and able to work under pressure. This is a very rewarding position for the right person; that person should come from a mechanical background, be professional, responsible, and have an excellent work ethic.
The employer has identified this position as a safety‑sensitive position and requires pre‑employment drug screening, including for non‑psychoactive THC.
Job Responsibilities- Manage work orders and distribute them to RV technicians
- Communicate with Service Manager, Shop Foreman, and Service Writers to keep them informed at all times of available shop capacity
- Review all repair orders, determine the time required to perform work, and schedule work to be finished promptly
- Communicate with lot porters to have RVs moved in and out of the shop safely and efficiently, assist with moving when needed
- Perform quality control checks
- Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on RV care and operation
- Attend company and factory training
- Keep current with factory technical bulletins
- Answer service phone calls and follow up when needed
- High school diploma and/or graduate of an applicable trade school in a mechanical or construction field
- 6 months related experience as a shop dispatcher and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have proven leadership skills and abilities
- Strong computer, typing, and communication skills are a must
- RV Technician Certification school is provided when you join our team; most of which is provided on‑site, however, some travel may be required
- Driver License required
- Clean and insurable driving record
- $55,000 to $65,000 Annually
- Salary + Commission
- 4 days on 4 days off
- Full‑time
