Contract​/Building Services Manager

Overview

Contract/Building Services Manager position at Clay County Missouri’s Facility Maintenance Office. This full-time management role oversees contracts, bids, custodial operations and vendors to deliver efficiency and maximize taxpayer dollars in care of county buildings and grounds. Leads custodial/maintenance personnel to ensure safe, attractive, and efficient buildings and grounds. Provides general supervision over professional and technical staff, establishes staff priorities, allocates resources, monitors expenditures, and maintains building integrity.

• Oversee contracts, bids, custodial operations and vendor management for county facilities.
• Supervise professional and technical staff; set priorities and allocate personnel resources.
• Monitor monthly expenditures and ensure fiscal responsibility.
• Maintain the integrity, safety, and cleanliness of county buildings and grounds.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.

• Experience in contract review and administration, procurement, project management, and regulatory compliance.
• Budgeting, team leadership, maintenance software proficiency, and safety protocol knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to handle detailed and stressful situations.

Salary: $63,508.02 to $66,071.41 annually, DOE. Benefits include:
