Clay County is seeking a dependable and hardworking Part-Time Custodian I to help maintain County buildings, offices, facilities, vehicles, and grounds in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition.

This position is scheduled Monday through Friday for a four hour shift between 5:00 pm - 1:30 am at an hourly salary of $18.08.

• Perform routine cleaning, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and restroom sanitation
• Empty trash and restock custodial supplies
• Clean offices, courtrooms, common areas, windows, and fixtures
• Operate custodial equipment and maintain cleaning supplies
• Assist with grounds upkeep and snow removal as needed
• Secure County buildings by locking/unlocking doors and managing lights
• Complete special cleaning and maintenance projects as assigned

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
• Ability to perform the physical duties associated with custodial work
• Ability to work independently and follow established safety procedures
