Maintenance Technician (Onsite)

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Maintenance Technician for our premier client in Libertyville, Illinois
.

• Technical School Certification or post-secondary schooling preferred.

• High school diploma or GED required;
  Technical School Certification preferred.
• Familiarity with CNC machine operation strongly preferred or prior experience working with highly complicated levels of equipment.
• Minimum of one (1) year in a manufacturing or service environment with hands‑on experience.
• Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, or other major controls preferred.

• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and in small group situations to other employees in the organization.
• Basic competence in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to apply basic concepts of math and writing.

• Develop and maintain maintenance programs for all production equipment including daily, monthly and annual plans.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting of equipment, complete basic repairs and coordinate outside vendors as required.
• Maintain inventory of critical components to ensure minimum downtime during repairs.
• Work collaboratively with other staff and departments and contribute to a collegial, professional, and respectful environment.
• Train machinists and operators in daily maintenance duties.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Follow all applicable ISO standards and safety protocols including use of appropriate PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
