Under the direct supervision of the Facilities Supervisor, the Student Facilities Worker assists with general cleaning, maintenance, and setup tasks across campus facilities. This role supports the safe, clean, and welcoming environment of the school by helping maintain buildings, grounds, and equipment. The Student Facilities Worker also provides assistance to staff, students, and visitors as needed.

• Assists in opening, securing, and monitoring assigned building areas at the start and end of shifts to support facility safety and cleanliness.
• Helps clean classrooms, hallways, restrooms, common areas, offices, and other spaces according to school standards.
• Performs basic floor care such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and spot-cleaning.
• Clans carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture as directed.
• Wipes down surfaces including walls, windows, doors, glass panels, and fixtures.
• Assists with setup and breakdown of furniture and equipment for school events, meetings, and activities.
• Helps stock supplies in restrooms, classrooms, and other facility areas.
• Empties trash and recycling bins and supports the school’s recycling initiatives.
• Assists Facilities staff with minor maintenance tasks and campus projects as assigned.
