DescriptionPosition Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the community's physical plant, grounds, and equipment in order to ensure a safe environment.
Position Responsibilities Supervisor of Maintenance:
- Repairs and maintains or supervises repairs and maintenance of the physical structure of the facility and equipment or obtains professional maintenance of equipment and/or facility
- Assists in maintaining the grounds including mowing, weeding, raking, trimming and the shoveling of dirt and snow.
- Maintains all records for the environmental services departments, conducts preventative maintenance program
- Cleans and maintains mechanical and electrical systems
- Orders and distributes all supplies for laundry, housekeeping and maintenance
- Orients new hires on fire safety, SDS and lock out tag out procedures
- Performs heavy scrubbing, waxing and buffing
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Must be licensed to drive without restrictions.
