Job SummaryResponsible for testing returned equipment (RMA), managing the return process, tracking company assets, and maintaining accurate records.
Essential Functions- Equipment Testing and RMA Processing:
Test returned equipment, conduct electrical testing, diagnose issues, document findings, coordinate with vendors and customers, and ensure timely processing of defective or repaired equipment. - Asset Tracking and Management:
Maintain accurate inventory records, track movement of equipment across sites, ensure proper tagging and documentation, and conduct periodic audits. - Documentation and Reporting:
Compile detailed reports for tested equipment, upload documentation, maintain records of asset inventory—including transfers and disposals—and prepare reports for management using Excel. - Coordination and Communication:
Collaborate with team members and leadership, communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and internal departments, and provide regular updates on asset status and RMA processing. - Compliance and Safety:
Adhere to safety and quality‑control requirements, follow company policies, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Strong Excel skills for data tracking and reporting.
- Ability to lift or pull heavy equipment (up to 50lbs).
- Strong organizational and record‑keeping skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Team‑oriented mentality and safety consciousness.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (required).
- Experience in equipment testing, electrical testing, asset tracking, or related fields.
- Familiarity with RMA processes and inventory management systems.
Stationary position for extended periods; frequent movement and handling of objects weighing 50pounds or more; use of hand and power tools; occasional indoor and outdoor work; 10‑15% travel; full‑time Monday‑through‑Friday with occasional weekends and overtime.
