Housekeeping Associate

Saint Luke’s East is seeking a Housekeeping Associate to be responsible for the cleanliness of our facility. As a member of the Environmental Services Department, you will be instrumental in fighting against hospital infection. Our priority is patient care in that we interact with patients daily and have the opportunity to bring something positive to their day to ensure Saint Luke’s is “The Best Place To Get Care, The Best Place To Give Care.”

Shift

Details
  • Full‑time position, Monday to Friday
  • Rotating weekends (every other weekend)
  • Accountable for cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and offices
  • Removing trash, wiping surfaces, and other related cleaning tasks
  • Each housekeeper is responsible for their own trash/linen/bio removal
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and safe facility environment
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and standards
  • Work independently with minimal guidance while maintaining high quality work
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals
Qualifications
  • Less than 1 year of applicable experience
  • Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules
  • Ability to be on your feet all day and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Team player who is eager to learn and not afraid to ask questions
