Maintenance Technician - Northglen

Overview

Mercy Housing is a nonprofit affordable housing provider committed to creating a more humane world where communities thrive and all individuals can realize their full potential. The Maintenance Technician supports on-site maintenance at Mercy Northglen, Lincoln, Nebraska.

• Completes work orders in a timely and accurate manner and cleans up after work is complete.
• Performs repairs on the property, including painting, basic carpentry or wall repair, plumbing, and electrical.
• Cleans apartments during turnover process, as directed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of basic building maintenance required either through training or experience.

• Minimum of one (1) year in skilled maintenance work.
• Technical training in one or more building trades preferred.

• Take direction from the supervisor.
• Read, write, do basic math, and follow instructions.
• Flexible to change work plans.
• Maintain a professional personal appearance.
• Legally operate a motor vehicle (valid driver s license and insurance).
