Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and public areas including correcting electrical malfunctions, plumbing fixtures, pipes and fittings, light bulbs and fixtures, and doors and locks.
  • Perform all necessary scheduled preventive maintenance procedures on designated equipment while following manufacturer’s recommendations.
  • Respond to emergency calls for system and equipment failure.
  • Complete work orders in a timely manner while providing detailed information regarding the task(s) performed along with all prescribed/pertinent equipment information.
  • Assist other maintenance personnel in the completion of special projects, including campus snow removal and carpet removal.
What We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ year of maintenance experience preferred, particularly in a residential apartment complex or healthcare setting.
  • Working knowledge of standard trades (e.g., basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical) to perform routine repairs.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays, as needed. Will be part of an on-call weekly rotation.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
