Job Details

Full time - Hours Per Week: 40
- Schedule:
Must work every other weekend and required holidays - Pay Range: $18.85 - $28.30 per hour
- Benefits Eligible:

- Starting pay: $18.85 per hour

- Perform complete cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, sanitizing furniture, equipment, mirrors, and fixtures
- Wash windows, walls, ceilings, vents, and light fixtures
- Sweep, scrub, and refinish floors
- Vacuum and shampoo carpet
- Restock restrooms and replace light bulbs
- Report repairs
- Assist with outdoor cleaning (parking lot, windows, roof) and occasionally use a ladder
- Use cleaning chemicals, disinfecting agents, floor strippers, and finishes
- Remove waste, including collecting and transporting soiled linen, emptying trash containers, changing sharps containers, transporting hazardous waste to compactors, recycling material, and emptying cigarette receptacles
- Keep equipment clean and report failures to maintenance staff
- Maintain a safe working environment and comply with procedures, rules, regulations, infection control guidelines, and departmental quality standards
- Attend all required in‑service education and training classes, including safety updates, to maintain technical knowledge
- Demonstrate ability to meet time schedules and deadlines
- Preferred:
High School diploma or GED equivalent - Preferred:
At least one year of experience in a similar role - Ability to prioritize assignments and complete work in a timely manner
- Ability to operate equipment
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with coworkers
- Repetitive work according to set procedures
- Fast‑paced and stressful
- Work in contaminated, isolation, construction, and renovation areas
- Occasional work in extreme temperatures and around unpleasant smells
- Exposure to individuals with various mental, physical conditions, and illnesses
