Job Overview

As a Tax Advisor on Block Advisors, you’ll serve clients with diverse tax and business service needs year‑round, building relationships and providing advanced tax training support.

• Build year‑round client relationships
• Provide tax preparation, audit support, and tax planning year‑round
• Conduct tax interviews face‑to‑face and virtually (video, phone, chat, email)
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support (tax notice services, audit representation)
• Grow your tax expertise
• 5+ years of tax experience
• Complete individual tax returns
• Provide tax planning and audit support
• Communicate effectively in person and virtually
• Work with virtual tools (video conferencing, chat)
• Work in a fast‑paced, supportive environment
• Pass the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent
• Complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements

• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing business tax returns
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Sales and/or marketing experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field

$11.00 - $80.00/Hr.
