Your RoleWe are seeking
In-Facility Health Insurance Agents
to work
onsite at partner healthcare facilities
. In this role, you will
educate residents and caregivers/ family members about health insurance options
, assist with enrollment, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. You'll be a trusted resource for residents and families, helping them navigate coverage options and access essential care.
This is a
client-facing position
that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping people understand their insurance benefits.
- Engage with residents and family members to explain health insurance plans and benefits.
- Assist with enrollment applications and verify eligibility.
- Provide guidance on coverage options and answer questions clearly and accurately.
- Maintain accurate records and submit required documentation promptly.
- Ensure compliance with
HIPAA
, state regulations, and company policies. - Collaborate with facility staff and internal teams to support client needs.
- Deliver
exceptional customer service
and build positive relationships with residents and families.
- High school diploma or equivalent (
Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
). - Active
state Health & Life Insurance License
(or ability to obtain – company will cover licensing costs). - 5+ years of experience
in health insurance sales, enrollment, or customer service. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work independently in a
fast-paced, onsite environment
. - Proficiency in
Microsoft Office
and Salesforce - This is a field based position, ability to travel up to 75% is required
- Familiarity with
Medicare/Medicaid
, supplemental insurance products, and long-term care coverage. - Experience in
healthcare facilities
or senior care environments. - Knowledge of
HIPAA compliance
and insurance fraud prevention.
