Registered Nurse Coordinator Surgical Specialties - PACU

Hourly Pay Range: $40.45 - $62.70. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Has accountability for perioperative nursing care provided in his/her designated surgical specialties.
• Coordinates department throughput, efficiencies, resources and staffing.
• Secures/procures and maintains supplies, equipment and instruments necessary to deliver optimal surgical care.
• Coordinates perioperative workflows, activities, and communicates to all key stakeholders working with or in the perioperative areas.

• Education:
  • BSN or currently enrolled in a BSN program. Degree must be acquired within 24 months, from an accredited nursing program, of hire.
• Certification/License:
  • IL RN License
  • CPR BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• Experience:
  • Experience in an OR setting.
  • Team building, leadership acumen, critical thinking and effective communication.
  • Must demonstrate competency in the care of all patient age groups specific to specialty. Competencies are unit/specialty specific.
