Facilities Technician – Refrigerated Food Production Facility (Linden, NJ)


We are seeking a skilled and reliable Facilities Technician to support the daily operation, maintenance, and repair of our refrigerated food production facility. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance in an industrial or food manufacturing environment.

Objectives of this Role


·
● Assists with maintaining building security and immediately responds to building emergencies during scheduled shift

·
● Monitors and replaces light bulbs in all assigned facilities, as needed

·
● Assists with departmental and employee moves

·
● Hangs pictures and shelving, as needed

·
● Dismantles and installs furniture

·
● Transports goods or equipment as assigned

·
● Performs other maintenance duties as assigned by the Facilities Maintenance Manager

Responsible for all powered equipment, unscheduled maintenance and preventive maintenance

Working Conditions: Work is primarily conducted in the office and food production environment. This position may require night, holiday and/or weekend work.
