Position: Station Supervisor - Grade 7 - $47,174.40 ~ $61,297.60 ~ $75,441.60

Basic Purpose of Position:

The position performs daily station checks for security and safety as well as reporting any defects with station equipment. Supervisors will also perform Customer Service functions, interacting with customers and providing assistance as needed. The position occasionally works in money room as counter.

Major Responsibilities and Duties

DESCRIPTION OF TASK
  • Monitors conditions in stations to allow for safe, timely and dependable movement of customers.
  • Ensures all related TVM (Ticket Vendor Machines) paperwork and financial reports are correct and supervises all activity at PATCO’s stations.
  • Provides direct assistance to customers or directs customers to those who can assist them with any issues they may have to Center Tower.
  • Assures that all fare collection and station equipment is secure and in working order.

    Check equipment and call for service when needed.
  • Performs all Automated Fare Collections (AFC) functions on work stations in money room including running and evaluating financial reports related Money room activities for cross training purposes.

    Is Assigned to money room on rotating basis.

    Assist Money Room Supervisor occasionally in the counting, balancing and reconciling of all venders and related paperwork in preparation for deposit of funds.
  • Performs fingertip maintenance on Ticket Vending machines and related AFC equipment.
  • Performs duties of Revenue Collector when necessary.

    Runs coins and dollars for counting and fills out coin boxes for ticket machines.
  • Assists in maintaining a safe and secure work environment by participating in required training, recognizing and reporting hazards and suspicious activity, and using all required personal protective equipment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
