Role DescriptionThe Maintenance and Facilities Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Lindon, UT, responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of the company’s facilities and equipment. This role includes planning and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and buildings, coordinating with vendors and contractors, managing maintenance schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Daily tasks include conducting facility inspections, responding to maintenance requests, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
The Maintenance and Facilities Manager will also support continuous improvement initiatives, recommend upgrades, and collaborate with operations and leadership to minimize downtime and maintain a safe, organized workplace.
- Demonstrated skills in preventive and corrective maintenance for mechanical, electrical, and production equipment, including troubleshooting and repair.
- Experience managing building and facility systems such as HVAC, lighting, basic plumbing, and general building repairs.
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices, OSHA guidelines, and facility compliance requirements, with a strong focus on safe work habits.
- Ability to coordinate with vendors and contractors, obtain quotes, schedule services, and oversee on‑site work to ensure quality and timeliness.
- Proficiency in organizing maintenance schedules, work orders, and inventory of tools, parts, and supplies using basic computer and record‑keeping tools.
- Strong problem‑solving, time management, and prioritization skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced production environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with operations, production, and leadership teams.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, industrial, or facilities maintenance is preferred; exposure to metal fabrication or similar environments is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification, vocational training, or an associate degree.
