We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team. The role involves performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the hotel.

• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report deficiencies to the Chief Engineer.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests, prioritizing tasks.
• Diagnose and repair issues including HVAC, lighting, and water leaks.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
• Handle hazardous materials and waste disposal properly.
• Participate in safety training sessions.
• Monitor inventory levels of maintenance supplies and reorder as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Front Office, and other departments to resolve maintenance issues.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
• Assist and support other Engineering team members as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in building maintenance or facilities management.
• Strong technical skills in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Salary range: $75,000.00 – $ for Lisle, IL.
