The Custodian role blends aspects of Hospitality, Facilities, and Office Management maintaining the office and manufacturing spaces to the standards our leadership team designate. Individuals in this role will coordinate to carry out all of the necessary functions that ensure the office, manufacturing, visitor, and shared spaces remain clean, tidy, organized and safe. Transportation is required for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Keeps buildings and properties clean and in orderly condition
  • Performs routine maintenance activities
  • Performs heavy cleaning duties
  • Coordinates with vendors to ensure cleaning supplies are stocked
  • Reports to Facilities team any major repairs and maintenance needed to ensure safety of the building’s occupants
  • Coordinates with vendors to ensure additional cleaning services are provided as needed
  • Assists the Hospitality team in maintaining upkeep and appearance of visitor areas
  • Coordinates with Hospitality team to ensure general office and hygiene supplies are stocked
  • Work alongside Facilities Management team to ensure the office areas and conference rooms remain clean, safe, and tidy
  • Track and stock kitchen supplies
  • Sweeps, mops, scrubs, or vacuums floors
  • Polishes windows, mirrors, and partitions with cleaning agents
  • Cleans bathrooms
  • Mixes cleaning solutions and chemicals in containers for cleaning, according to instructions
  • Dusts furniture, walls, and surfaces
  • Gathers and empties trash and recycling
  • Restocks paper, soap, and basic kitchen supplies
  • Manages keys and access codes to buildings, closets, and secure spaces
  • Performs ad hoc cleaning and maintenance as needed
  • Perform assigned duties according to the policies and expectations prescribed by the company
Position Requirements
  • 1-2 years relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures
  • Background in handling, mixing, and using cleaning chemicals

  • Must be able to lift, move, carry, pull, or push up to 50 lbs
