Evening Custodial Lead

Job Description

Roseville Area Schools has an opening for a Custodian – Evening Maintenance Lead at Roseville Area Middle School. Hours are Monday‑Friday, 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm. The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching and mentoring other custodial staff, cleaning assigned areas, assisting with event set‑ups, and performing various other duties supporting the needs of the programs utilizing the building. Candidates must be able to work both independently and as part of a team, and work closely with the building engineer to resolve work orders and staff requests.

• Candidates must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Ability to prioritize the needs of the building and give direction to evening crew.
• Be a self‑starter: be able to recognize, analyze, develop solutions and initiate problem solving with little information or direction.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance.
• This position requires a 1st Class C boiler license.

Roseville Schools offers a full benefit package including medical, dental and retirement. Starting pay for this position is $28.68 per hour, with additional compensation that includes a shift differential pay of $60 per month and a license incentive of $.50 per hour for holding the appropriate boiler license required for the position.
