Field Service Engineer-Little Rock, AR

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and technical solutions, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be part of the Technical Support Department supporting Customer Service Engineers. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, adaptability, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Pay Range: $83,000 - $110,000

• Provide customers with maintenance, repair, and installation assistance of CNC machine tools on location or by telephone.

• Create and update documentation of technical information and generate reports related to service activities.

• Assist and train Customer’s Service Engineers on the installation and maintenance of newer product lines.

• Establish and maintain strong communication and customer service relationships with clients.

• Manage challenging customer situations positively, respond promptly to customer needs, and solicit feedback for continuous improvement.

• High School/GED or Associate Degree in a technical-related field preferred.

• 3-5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machine tools.

• Experience working with DMG or MORI SEIKI machines, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, and/or Siemens controls is a plus.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service.

• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and PLC ladder diagrams.
