the facility coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and general upkeep of the visitor's center. This position helps to ensure that the visitor's center is safe, clean, functional, welcoming, and prepared to serve the park visitors, employees, and volunteers. Facility coordinator works directly with the facility supervisor/expert.

maintain standards of the gift shop by properly ordering and receiving product, counting inventory, and cleaning. Daily cleaning is necessary and includes but not limited to wiping down counter tops and displays, scrubbing toilets, cleaning windows and doors, and taking out trash. Responsible for opening and closing register and making sure building is securely locked.

coordinate facility reservations and space utilization for meetings, events, and department needs, including reservations at lake sylvia. Ability to use pos system on computer and handle money.
