To repair and maintain air conditioning, heating and refrigeration systems and pneumatic equipment at City of Little Rock buildings and facilities.

Minimum Qualifications , Additional Requirements And Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThese knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of a vocational-technical school course in heating and air conditioning systems, four (4) years of experience as a HVAC Mechanic; one (1) year of personal computer experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Additional Requirements- Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver’s License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
- Must be available to respond to emergency calls outside of normal working hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must obtain an Arkansas Class B HVAC license within (2) years of employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
- Must obtain an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Section 608 certification Type 1 and Type 2 administered by an EPA approved organization before employment and maintain certification for the duration of employment in this position.
- Must possess an Arkansas HVACR registrant license within thirty (30) days of employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
