Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, General Labor, Building Maintenance
Job Duties and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs of the facilities and mechanical equipment to ensure proper operation and condition
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections of onsite facilities equipment
- Complete daily assigned tasks and provide an update to the Facilities Manager
- Provide maintenance support to all on‑site departments, including projects and installations
- Assist in office furniture reconfigurations, furniture moves, and office moves as requested
- Provide occasional on‑call support to the facility during emergencies
- Address and complete daily work orders
- Seasonal snow removal
- Provide support during on‑site and off‑site events, set up and tear down
- Assist onsite contractors when necessary
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
- Possess a current and valid driver license
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklift, scissor lift, boom lifts, etc.
- Strong knowledge of safe work practices and procedures typical for maintenance operations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work successfully within a team environment
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to utilize hand tools
- Ability to utilize power tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Maintain a professional demeanor at all times
- Time management skills
- Basic computer skills using software such as MS Office and/or Google Suite
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Will be able to work in all‑weather environments, indoors, and outdoors
- Will be able to sit, stand, crawl, and climb ladders for extended periods
Compensation: $15.91/Hour - $22.74/Hour
