Building Maintenance Technician

Job Duties and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs of the facilities and mechanical equipment to ensure proper operation and condition
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections of onsite facilities equipment
• Complete daily assigned tasks and provide an update to the Facilities Manager
• Provide maintenance support to all on‑site departments, including projects and installations
• Assist in office furniture reconfigurations, furniture moves, and office moves as requested
• Provide occasional on‑call support to the facility during emergencies
• Address and complete daily work orders
• Seasonal snow removal
• Provide support during on‑site and off‑site events, set up and tear down
• Assist onsite contractors when necessary
• Other duties as assigned

• Possess a current and valid driver license
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklift, scissor lift, boom lifts, etc.

• Strong knowledge of safe work practices and procedures typical for maintenance operations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work successfully within a team environment
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle
• Ability to utilize hand tools
• Ability to utilize power tools
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Maintain a professional demeanor at all times
• Time management skills
• Basic computer skills using software such as MS Office and/or Google Suite
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Will be able to work in all‑weather environments, indoors, and outdoors
• Will be able to sit, stand, crawl, and climb ladders for extended periods

Compensation: $15.91/Hour - $22.74/Hour

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and may change.
