** Job Description** :

+ Installs, inspects, maintains, repairs, and performs preventive maintenance on all heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems.

+ Maintains and applies current knowledge of steam distribution piping, valves, chilled and hot water reheat systems, and Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) operation.

+ Develops and implements departmental equipment procedures for power outages.

+ Prepares preventive maintenance schedule and produces reports.

+ Identifies equipment needs, parts, and supplies, and maintains adequate inventory.

** Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:*
* - Extensive knowledge of hospital Mechanical systems and all components of the system.

- Trouble shooting skills for HVAC equipment

- Cutting, brazing, soldering various ferrous materials

- Running, splicing, connecting, testing, troubleshooting electrical circuits associated with HVAC equipment
