Custodian with Benefits - Ford Elementary; 4 hour evening position.

Location:

• Clean assigned areas by vacuuming, mopping, waxing, buffing, stripping floors, and cleaning walls, windows, and other common areas.
• Perform meeting set-ups and takedown by moving furniture, setting up chairs, and preparing rooms for events.
• Monitor assigned area by walking halls and grounds; pick up and dispose of trash.
• Dust fixtures in the assigned area.
• Clean bathrooms by mopping floors, cleaning toilets, and wiping walls, mirrors, and sinks.
• Maintain consistent attendance, arrive and depart on schedule, and follow district procedures for absences.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and adapt to changes in responsibilities and schedule within the authority granted.
• Promote and follow Board of Education policies, building or department procedures, and applicable rules and regulations.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Criminal background check required for hire

Can work daytime hours during the summer. Will work between 2:30 pm and 6:30 pm during the school year.

Starting salary is $19.41 per hour plus benefits. Additional compensation is determined based on relevant experience.
