Location: Livermore, CA

Pay Range: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Full-Time, Onsite

Temporary (2-Month Assignment: October & November)

We are actively seeking a Facilities Technician to join a growing advanced manufacturing organization. In this temporary assignment, you will support facility operations, maintenance projects, workspace readiness, contractor coordination, and day-to-day building needs while helping ensure employees have a clean, organized, and productive workplace.

• Play a key role supporting operational continuity during a high-priority coverage assignment.
• Gain exposure to facility improvement projects, office expansion efforts, and vendor management.
• Work in a collaborative environment where initiative and problem-solving are highly valued.
• Contribute directly to employee safety, workplace functionality, and overall facility excellence.

• Support facility-related projects, including workspace modifications, office improvements, and operational initiatives.
• Coordinate furniture moves, workspace setup activities, and facility logistics as business needs evolve.
• Partner with contractors, service providers, and maintenance vendors to ensure timely completion of assigned work.
• Perform routine inspections to identify maintenance concerns, safety risks and facility improvement opportunities.
• Maintain the appearance and functionality of office, manufacturing, conference room, and common areas.
• Assist with moving equipment, furniture, materials and supplies while following safety guidelines.
• Address minor maintenance issues involving electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC systems.
• Support preventive maintenance programs and coordinate repair activities when necessary.
• Monitor inventory levels of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment and assist with replenishment efforts.
• Participate in workplace safety initiatives, inspections, and continuous improvement programs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation related to completed work.

• REQUIRED: 3+ years of maintenance, facilities, operations, or related hands-on experience.
• Basic computer proficiency for documentation, communication, and recordkeeping.
• Experience managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.
• Comfortable using hand tools and performing light maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Flexibility to support occasional evening, weekend, or emergency facility needs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically active duties throughout the workday.
