Job Description

Performs all daily cleaning assignments as per work flow.

Performs all weekly cleaning assignments as per cleaning schedule.

Works in dish room, scrapping trays, loading and unloading dish machine and sorting silverware.

Records dish machine and pot water temperatures, takes necessary corrective action if temperatures fall outside of proper range.

Sweeps and mops floors.

Cleans tables, counters and various types of kitchen equipment which may include: steam tables, yogurt machine, beverage machines, refrigerators, slicer, grill etc.

Removes trash from department and transports to disposal area maintaining levels in department.

Receives food deliveries and stores products in appropriate areas rotating stock according to policy.

Delivers floor stock to all floors while maintaining par levels and fills requisitions as needed.

Delivers patient late trays to the ED and other patient units when requested and does so in a timely fashion.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
