The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

• Serve on the tray assembly line in assigned positions involving starters, servers, soups, desserts, and hot beverages.
• Wash pots and pans and perform heavy cleaning duties as directed.
• Assist in the care and maintenance of work areas, equipment, and supplies.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment; perform general routine cleaning duties and non-round duties as assigned.
• Collect, process, and properly dispose of trash, recyclables, and waste.
• Correctly label and date portioned food products.
• Deliver and pick up patient meal trays according to department policy.
• Maintain established food preparation policies, procedures, standards, and quality expectations.
• Prepare, load, transport, and strip food trucks; scrape plates and pre-soak silverware.
• Communicate patient questions or concerns to the Diet Office and notify nursing staff when assistance is needed.

To be considered for this opportunity, previous food service experience is preferred but not required. We are hiring for part-time positions across day, evening and night shifts. Weekend and holiday availability is required to help ensure outstanding food service and patient care every day of the year.
