Maintenance Tech – Part-time (days)

24 hours per week – Weekends and on-call rotation. Healthcare experience in Maintenance preferred.

Join our team at Marycrest as a Maintenance Tech. You will perform maintenance and repair work on buildings, property and equipment to ensure a comfortable, safe and clean environment for residents and staff.

• Perform maintenance and repair work on facilities and equipment as directed by the Environmental Services Manager / Designee.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents and staff.

• High School Diploma or equivalent with vocational training in a maintenance-related program and a minimum of 1 year experience in general maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
• Must be able to obtain a Chauffeur license and must have a safe driving record.
• Knowledge and experience in using and maintaining a variety of manual and power tools and equipment.
• Previous experience working in long-term care or with the geriatric population is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and professionalism.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to ongoing change and work in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.
• Interpersonal skills to work as an effective team member and positively relate to all residents.
• Self-starter, highly motivated with a high productivity level.
