PayStarting pay is $18 per hour. Quarterly $0.50 per hour step increases during the first year of employment bring the pay rate to $20 per hour by the end of the first year.

Perform loading/unloading of RJW trucks and outside carriers, ensure all shipments are properly stored in the warehouse, and pick orders from warehouse inventory as directed by customer.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Load/unload trucks/trailers safely and efficiently using proper procedures and outside carrier equipment.
- Pick and move items weighing from 1 lb to more than 50 lbs multiple times.
- Complete all documentation properly.
- Coordinate with dispatch and sales to resolve discrepancies.
- Store inbound loads in correct warehouse locations.
- Mark all shipments correctly before storing/picking.
- Maintain warehouse area with orderly stacking and good housekeeping.
- Spot trailers to maintain efficient yard organization and flow of equipment into warehouse.
- Coordinate paperwork with drivers after dispatch operations are finished.
- Maintain general maintenance of yard surrounding warehouse.
- Sweep trailers clean of debris when empty.
- Stage shipments correctly and load properly.
- Process outbound freight and cross‑dock freight as necessary.
- Operate stand‑up reach forklifts, cherry pickers, and perform some sit‑down forklift work.
- Follow all safety procedures at all times.
- Build and break down pallets and stock.
- Work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by manager.
- Operate forklift, cherry picker, and stand‑up reach forklift.
- Demonstrate good communication, problem resolution, and people skills.
- Maintain orderly operation of warehouse.
- 1 year of forklift driving experience.
- Certified forklift license.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must communicate, read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure; compute rate, ratio, percent; interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to solve practical problems and determine corrective action.
- Knowledge of business operating systems, internet software, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
- Must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must use phone systems and keyboards.
- Should be articulate and comfortable speaking in front of others.
- Works in indoor/office environment; frequent sitting and hand motion.
- Can talk, hear, stand, and walk frequently.
- Can work beyond 8 hours when required.
- Can handle stressful situations and maintain accuracy while multitasking.
- Possesses 20/20 corrected vision for reading visual images.
- Can communicate clearly over the phone.
- Must be in sound physical health; no evidence of controlled substance use.
- Exposed occasionally to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles; noise level ranges from quiet to moderately loud.
