Job Title: Maintenance II – National DCP

Location:

Lockport, IL
Job Type: Full-time | Shift: Sunday-Thursday; 11am-7:30pm

Join National DCP, LLC (NDCP) as a Maintenance Technician
, supporting fast-paced distribution operations for Dunkin’ restaurants. NDCP is a $3 billion supply chain management company serving over 10,000 Dunkin’ locations across the U.S., known for reliability, performance, and strong team culture. This position reports to the Operations Supervisor and will be responsible for damages, cleanouts, and general housekeeping within the warehouse. It requires operating in environments with varying temperature and humidity (Dry, Cooler, Freezer).

This position may be filled as a Maintenance I, Maintenance II, Maintenance III, or Maintenance Lead.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the selecting isles are aligned, and product is brought forward.
  • Ensure that the floor is kept clear of any debris that would hinder the selecting process.
  • Clean out company trailers; remove empty pallets/crates and organize for pickup.
  • Follow all safety rules and complete all duties as assigned.
  • Safely operate all equipment utilized to perform tasks associated with role.
  • Safe operation of Fork truck, clamp truck, Floor scrubber, battery changing station & rideon/walk behind pallet jack.
  • Maintain company standards for safety, attendance, and conduct.
  • Maintain proper and safe lifting techniques.
  • Perform daily safety inspections on material handling equipment.
  • Immediately advise supervisor of any unsafe conditions or accidents.
  • Cleans up any spills or breakages to inventoried product; recoup damages and determines if resalable or must be disposed of per government and NDCP food safety requirements.
  • Prepare various reports and forms to document cleaning schedule, spillages, product damage, etc.; may track and order maintenance supplies.
  • Provide equipment for the selecting process, i.e., cardboard separators and pallets.
  • Power wash trash receptacles; general cleaning duties include but are not limited to sweeping, dusting, mopping, trash pick‑up and use of compactor, may be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
  • Assist in the orderly maintenance & general housekeeping of the warehouse; may perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.
  • Use a headset to find individual items within the warehouse.
  • Attend all required Company meetings.
  • Follow NDCP’s Good Distribution Practices.
  • Cross train in other functions and perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications
  • Ability to operate a shrink-wrap machine and manually shrink-wrap a product.
  • Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (forklift, pallet jack, high lift).
  • Ability to work flexible days and hours; schedule may include weekends and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Desire and ability to work in a collaborative work environment.
  • 1 year of warehouse or maintenance experience preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain certification in the Crown certificate program.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to follow simple instructions.
  • Must be punctual and reliable.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work without supervision.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Physical Demands
  • Climate:
    Ability to work in various temperature-controlled areas (Freezer ‑10 degrees), Cooler – 34 degrees, and Dry (ambient temps).
  • Physical:
    Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
